The “Lomas de Lachay” National Reserve is very close to the city of Lima, it is the ideal place if you are looking for adventure in Lima, perfect for trekking, since the place has 3 routes where you can do this outdoor activity. In addition, birdwatching and camping have been implemented in specific areas. Within this adventure route, you can also do ecological tourism, be in touch with nature and observe the fauna and flora typical of the region.
- 07:00 Hrs. Departure to Lachay hills (3 hours trip, approximately). Where the cold waters of the Peruvian current originate winter fogs that reach the coast driven by trade winds, which moistens the desert and gives rise to the hills full of vegetation declared a reserve in 1977, with an area of 5070 hectares. Here we can appreciate the flora, fauna, cave paintings and archeological areas through a walk along the trails of the place.
- At opportune hour we will leave for Huaral where you can have lunch in the various country restaurants of this countryside.
- After lunch we will visit Chancay Castle, where we will take a tour of its main facilities, and will explain a little more about its creation. We will enjoy a beautiful view of the sea.
- Optionally we will visit the Eco Truly Park, which is the Hare Crishna Complex, here they will show us their naturist customs applied to their way of life.
- <17:00 Hrs. aprox. Departure to the city of Lima.
- 20:00 Hrs. aprox. Arrival to the city of Lima to the place of initial departure.
