Day 1: City Tour and Sacsayhuamán

  • 6:00AM: (Flexible Time): Transfer from the Airport to the hotel
  • 1:00PM: City Tour.
    We visit the “Plaza de Armas” of Cusco explaining its history and architecture, then we visit the famous “Temple of the Sun” or Koricancha, the most important temple of The Tahuantinsuyo.
  • 3:00PM: Visitamos los sorprendentes complejos arqueológicos de Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo Puca Pucara y Tambomachay.
  • 6:00PM: Return to Cusco

Day 2: Maras - Moray

  • 8:30AM: We go by bus to the town of Maras for a brief tour of its streets and colonial covers. Then we will visit the salt mines "Minas de Sal" to know the process in which the Incas obtained the salt.
  • 12:00PM: We will visit the archaeological site of Moray to know the circular platforms that served the Incas as a greenhouse prototype and where they made great advances in agriculture.
  • 2:30PM: LWe arrive in Cusco, after a trip of approximately 1 hour

Day 3: South Valley

  • 8:30AM: Transfer in the tourist bus that will take us to the South Valley of Cusco
  • 9:00AM: We will visit the archaeological complex of Tipon, a large cultivation area with 12 terraces and an impressive irrigation system that is still used for agriculture.
  • 11:00AM: We head towards the impressive urban center of the Wari Empire known as “Piquillacta”, which has more than a thousand constructions between squares, “colcas” or stores, houses, temples, among others
  • 1:00PM: Visit to the town of Andahuaylillas, where we will visit the famous Church of the colonial Era known as the "Sistine Chapel of the Americas" for its beautiful decoration and wall paintings of the XVll and XVll centuries.
  • 5:30PM: Llegada a Cusco.

Day 4: Rainbow Mountain - Vinicunca

  • Our journey to the Sacred Mountain of Vinicunca will begin by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco in our tourist transportation around 04:00 to 04:30 a.m.
  • We will ride to the south side of the city of Cusco passing through picturesque villages whose buildings will vary as we go up to reach the district of “Cusi pata”, from here we will go to the small town of Paucarpata where we will enjoy a delicious and energetic breakfast.
  • After breakfast we will continue our way in the tourist transportation until "Qomer Qocha", from this point we will begin our walk towards the Mountain of 7 Colors - Vinicunca, the journey will take us around 45min up to 1 hour of ascent to the 5.200 msnsm.
  • After taking some pictures and enjoying the beauty of the landscape, we will begin the return to the parking spot where the return transportation to Paucarpata will be awaiting, after arriving in Paucarpata we will enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch we will return to the city of Cusco where we will be arriving around 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Day 5: Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa - Humantay Lagoon

  • We will pass by your respective hotel to pick you up between 4:45 to 5:30 am and then travel in our private transport to the town of Mollepata located in the lush valley of the Apurimac River.
  • After a well-deserved breakfast to fill us with energy, we will continue our trip to Soraypampa (3900msnm) after a short break, we will begin our walk to Humantay lake located at 4200mt 13779 feet, after the ascent of 1 hour and 30 min approximately we can appreciate such a wonderful place and we will return to our camp to have our lunch with beautiful panoramic views of the snowy peaks and then we will be transferred back to the city of Cusco, we will leave you at the center of the city (near the main Plaza de Armas).
  • Después de un merecido desayuno para llenarnos de energía continuaremos nuestro viaje hacia Soraypampa (3900msnm) después de un breve descanso, comenzaremos nuestra caminata hacia Humantay lake ubicado a 4200mt 13779 pies, después del ascenso de 1 hora y 30 min aproximadamente podremos apreciar tan maravilloso lugar y retornaremos a nuestro campamento para tener nuestro almuerzo con hermosas vistas panorámicas de los picos nevados y posteriormente serán trasladados a nuestra ciudad de Cusco, los dejaremos en el centro de la ciudad (cerca de la Plaza de Armas principal).

Day 6: Cóndor Flight - Chonta

  • 6:00AM: Start of the trip on the Cusco - Limatambo route by paved road. On the way we will visit the archaeological complexes of Killarumiyoc (temple of the moon and fertility) and Tarawasi (Inca tambo)
  • 10:00AM: Arrival at the Huayronca bridge and travel through an unpaved road
  • 12:00AM: Arrival to the town of Chonta (3400 masl), where we will enjoy a refreshing lunch with breathtaking views of the snowy Salkantay
  • 1:30PM: Start of the approximately 1 hour walk to the viewpoint of the Condor Canyon located at 3350 meters above sea level. From here we can witness the impressive Andean condor in its natural habitat. We are located in the viewpoint and wait for the condors to arrive after their daily activities, they usually return to their nests around 3pm. We will have the opportunity to see them from close range and photograph them for an average of 2 hours or more, usually they can be seen flying less than 30 meters.
  • 5:00PM: Walk back to the town of Chonta.
  • 6:00PM: Trip back to Cusco
  • 7:00PM: Arrival to Cusco.

Day 7: Q´eswachaka Suspension Bridge

  • 6:00AM: After breakfast at the hotel, we leave in private mobility heading south west of Cusco.
  • 8:00AM: After almost two hours of travel we will visit the Pomacanchi lagoon, where we will take a short break and with a little luck we can see vicunas in their natural habitat.
  • 10:00PM: Arrival at the Q’eswachaka bridge, the last Inca suspension bridge made of vegetable fiber (Ichu) and located on the Apurimac river in the district of Quehue
    The renovation and maintenance is done once a year by the four communities that are around. We will have the opportunity to cross the Inca bridge up to two times, of course if you have the courage to do so.
  • 2:00PM: Start of the return trip. At the passenger's choice, a stop can be made in the town of Oropesa famous for its traditional breads and in Saylla famous for its chicharrones, or in any case go directly to Cusco so they can have lunch (on behalf of the passenger)
  • 4:30PM: Arrival to Cusco.

Day 8: Sacred Valley of the Incas and overnight in Aguas Calientes.

  • 8:00AM: We set off in private mobility towards the Sacred Valley, the most precious place for the Incas due to its geographical and climatic qualities
  • 10:00AM:The first town we reach is Pisac, where we visit the Plaza de Armas, the famous handicraft market and the archaeological complex of Pisac.
  • 1:30PM: We head to Urubamba where we will visit the city and its main attractions.
  • 4:00PM: After a brief trip of 20 minutes from Urubamba we arrive at Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town that has an impressive archaeological complex.
  • 6:30PM: We ride the train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes
  • 9:30PM: The arrival to the town is impressive. We go through the Plaza de Armas and head towards the accommodation.

Day 9: Machu Picchu

  • 8:30AM: Bus ride from Aguas Calientes to the entry point of the citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World.
  • 9:00PM: IWe entered Machu Picchu. The tour is carried out together by a tourist guide, accredited by the Association of guides of Cusco, and lasts 2:30 hours approx. The whole citadel will be covered with an explanation of the main attractions: Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, Temple of the 3 windows, Temple of the Condor, among others. You will have extra time to walk and take pictures.
  • 12:00PM: Return by bus from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes.
  • 6:30PM: Return by bus from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes.
  • 8:30PM: Return by bus from Ollantaytambo to the city of Cusco
  • 10:30PM: Arrival to Cusco

Day 10: Return
